The Compton Gallery is delighted to be hosting an event with Steven Spurrier – leading British wine expert and Decanter man of the year 2017, to celebrate the launch of his new book.

Celebrate the launch of ‘WINE- A WAY OF LIFE’

This summer sees the launch of Steven’s new book - a story of his rich and eventful life in and around wine and the unexpected fame that resulted from his creation of the Judgment of Paris in 1976 (which later became a film starring Alan Rickman). 
During an entertaining afternoon, Steven will be mingling with guests and talking about the inspiration behind his new book, as well as sharing stories and anecdotes from his life with wine. Signed copies of the book will be available to buy on the day at a discounted price of £18.

This prestigious event is being held at The Compton Gallery set in the beautiful Cotswold countryside. Spend this informal and relaxing afternoon enjoying a delicious rustic brunch and sampling some of Steven’s exquisite M/S Indian wine, from his partnership with Piero Masi and Fratelli wines. The wine will also be available to buy on the day, ideal as a talking point at your next dinner party!

Exclusive dinner with Steven Spurrier

In addition to this Sunday Brunch, there is also an exclusive formal dinner, to celebrate the launch of ‘Wine – A way of Life’, on Saturday June 30th 2018. 

A chef-cooked 5-course dinner will be served, each course accompanied with one of the wines from Steven’s personal cellar. Steven will introduce the wine, sharing stories and tips taken from his long and passionate life with wine.
